Welcome to the overactive imagination of Natalie Page.

You know how people who enter singing contests say that they have been singing since they were in nappies? Well, I might not have been writing that long, but I started scribbling stories for my parents when I was in primary school (some of which I now have thanks to my mum’s tendency to never throw anything away). I continued writing for my own pleasure throughout school, but somewhat lost the ability when I went to University (apparently hanging out in the student union was far more appealing). Thankfully, I rediscovered my love of writing whilst on maternity. Having time off work finally gave me the head space to be creative and as a result, I finished my first YA novel and several children’s stories.

I tend to write whatever comes into my head, whether that’s a story for children or something slightly darker for teenagers and in all honesty, I do my best work in the early hours of the morning, usually when I can’t sleep.  My first children’s book is due out in 2016 and I hope that it will be the first of many. Whatever happens, so long as I continue to enjoy writing, I will continue to write stories. If you enjoy them too, then I hope you will stay with me for the ride!

When I’m not writing, I can be found working or running around after my daughter and husband, so if I don’t get back to you straight away – that’s why!
